Collection: My Icarus (Inspired by Henri Matisse) – Age 7

Inspired by Henri Matisse’s Icarus, this artwork shows the child’s own interpretation of the story.
After listening to and discussing the story of Icarus, the child imagined a different ending: instead of falling and getting hurt, Icarus is given flying carpets on his hands and feet so he can fly freely through the sky.
